Trained Service Dogs

We offer started service dogs. These custom-fit training programs for dogs of all ages—sometimes older dogs, sometimes puppies—who stay with us for 6 to 8 months. Their training is tailored to specific tasks designed for their future handler. A dog can be matched with a handler at any point during the process.

If you’re interested in a custom program, reach out, and we’d love to discuss how we can help!

Mango
PLACED*

Mango is a black lab from Atlas Labradors and trained by Tidal Retrievers. She is from Atlas Labrador in Connecticut.

Mango is a happy girl who loves to work! She has been in many environments and has a lot of handler engagement. Her obedience is strong and will have been to restaurants, doctor’s appointments, physical therapy appointments, museums and so much more. Showing confidence everywhere and has the ability to settle for long periods of time.

Mango is medium energy, she would love to go on a walk or wooded trail and also able to hang out on bad health days. She loves a good game of fetch but does not need to be extensively exercised before working.

Mango has wonderful food drive and is happy to work for her kibble with no known food allergies or environmental allergies.

At time of her placement will know a medication reminder, behavioral interruption, deep pressure therapy (DPT), basic retrievals, medication retrievals and ability to open handicap buttons.

She is a very sweet and affectionate dog and loves to be around you.

Once placed she will have trainer support for life and follow up lessons. This also includes a 4 week “touch up” board and train.
